TRANSFORMATIONAL TEEN EXPERIENCES
These are high-quality, technology rich experiences, with nationally acclaimed speakers and musicians, where teens hear the Gospel shared in ways that are relevant. These proven events call teens into a rich and meaningful life, living out their faith.

STEUBENVILLE SAN DIEGO Youth Conference is a 3-day mega-event in July that has ministered to over 25,000 youth in seven years.

HOPE—A DAY FOR YOUTH is an exciting regional Fall conference energizing teens’ faith.



YOUTH MINISTER IMPACT
One youth minister changes hundreds of teens’ lives - impacting their families, communities, and future generations. We help build the needed skills in youth ministers so they can succeed.

WORKSHOPS:24 skill-building sessions that focus on the essential components of youth ministry.

CONFERENCE:This intensive and dynamic 3-day winter event equips parish teams with the tools to develop and sustain vibrant, life giving, and comprehensive youth ministries.



PARISH PARTNERING
All teens need a place to belong, especially at-risk teens. Every parish needs a youth community rooted in the Gospel, where teens can belong and faith can transform lives. We offer:

• A team approach to review parish needs and set goals
• Program Development - outreach, event logistics, programming, retreats, budgets, business tools, volunteer recruitment, etc.
• Coaching – mentoring and training
• Best practices from across the country customized to the parish culture and needs. Progress reports measuring achievement on the parish goals
• Financial assistance where needed
• Fundraising planning and coaching for the long term ministry

We are currently serving at-risk teens in San Diego at Christ the King, Mission San Antonio de Pala, Our Lady of Angels, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and St. Jude Shrine of the West.

Pressures On Youth

Teens are facing overwhelming cultural pressures:

• Longer parental work week
• An increase in single parent households
• Less supervision results in higher rates of
• Early sexual activity
• Drug & alcohol abuse
• Internet porn & predator access
• Higher divorce and poverty rates
• The lure of gangs for social acceptance
• Media influences that are
• Increasingly violent & sexual
• Undermining parental influence
• Accessible 24 hours a day

Teens are struggling to feel connected. They wonder if they belong within the church community.

An Opportunity
Parishes want to reach youth, but are struggling to meet their needs. The Catholic Bishops call us to minister to teens and teach the faith—to include teens in our faith communities, sharing the gospel, and changing lives - ministry that extends beyond preparation for Confirmation.


Comprehensive Youth Ministry includes:

Pastors want to help, but are stretched too thin.The laity are called to share in the mission by offering their time, talent and treasure to build comprehensive youth ministry programs. The lives and eternities of our youth are at stake.


Teens with STRONG FAITH are:

• 3 times less likely to have sex
• 10 times less likely to regularly drink alcohol
• 16 times less likely to smoke pot regularly
• 5 times less likely to average “C”, “D”, or “F” grades
• 2 times less likely to feel depressed
• 5 times less likely to be rebellious with their parents
